Questions & Answers

    • ELCT is a pay-per-use/pay-as-you-go service.

    • Your cost is directly proportional to your reach, and you control your spending on a per-broadcast basis

    • There is no minimum spend per broadcast.

    • A broadcast is an advertising campaign you create, consisting primarily of a creative, a click action, and targeting criteria.

    • The creative is the image you upload to ELCT, representing your ad. (see also question "What format can I use for my broadcasts?")

    • The click action determines what happens when an end-user clicks the ad—whether opening a specific URL (e.g., a campaign website or social media page) or starting a chat via WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, LINE, or Viber.

    • With targeting criteria, you can define where your ad appears geographically, set a budget, and specify how long the broadcast will run. (see also question “What targeting is available?”)

    • Your published broadcasts will appear as display ads on reputable News, Sports, and Entertainment websites and apps. The specific sites will vary based on the target location of your broadcast.

    • ELCT prioritizes brand safety. Broadcasts are not shown on primarily user-generated platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Additionally, we work with a third-party company to review every webpage where our ads appear, ensuring compliance and suitability.

    • ELCT supports 300x250 pixel static and animated (GIF) image ads. 

    • A digital out-of-home billboard format will be planned for H2’25.

  • No. This service delivers digital display ads on leading commercial websites.

  • Our platform currently offers geographic targeting options ranging from nationwide to specific post codes.

  • Currently, the only self-service targeting option is geographic location.

    • No. You can run as many campaigns as you want. 

    • Regular users who run repeat broadcasts in the same area understand that doing so significantly boosts name, party, and campaign recognition, as well as ad visibility.

    • Yes. Every ELCT account has an owner user, and additional users can be invited to join the same account.

    • Users can also recommend other candidates or external campaign staff to the platform.

    • ELCT uses census data as the foundation for its population figures, incorporating additional data sources (which vary by market) for more granular estimates. 

    • These figures are linked to specific geographic boundaries and are designed to assist users with budget planning. 

    • While not an exact population number, ELCT provides you the most reliable population data possible.
